Le'Bryan Nash Returning For Sophomore Season At Oklahoma State

Mar 8, 2012 10:25 AM

Le’Bryan Nash plans to return to Oklahoma State for his sophomore season. Nash previously estimated the odds of his return at 70 percent.

"When I was playing during that time, I thought we could make a big run and anything could happen and my name could pop up in the NBA draft," Nash said. "Now it's 100 percent I'm staying here. I'm going to be here next year. I believe we can win next year because of the talent. Everybody is coming back but Keiton (Page), so the experience and the talent are going to be there."

Nash said he won’t be influenced by people outside his inner circle.

"The only people I need to talk to are coach (Travis) Ford and all the coaching staff and my teammates and my mom and my mentor," Nash said. "That's the only people I need to talk to in my life about the NBA and whether I should stay or go and, right now, all of them are saying that I should stay in college.

"Me and coach Ford talked about it after I hurt my hand. He said 'I think it would be best for you to come back.' I think it would be best for me to come back. I really don't want to get picked in the second round or late first-round. I want to be a guy that is in the top 10."
